From New York, Atlantic City is a great destination for a day trip. Spend the day strolling the boardwalk, shopping, and breathing in the fresh sea air. Then head to the casinos and hit the slot machines, or enjoy dinner at one of the great restaurants in the city.

Tourists eager to gamble the night away flock to Atlantic City daily, much like Las Vegas in the Southwest. But be sure to save time for sightseeing as you stroll the world-famous boardwalk with its many attractions and dining spots. Visit the historic Absecon Lighthouse, enjoy the fine golf courses, or simply just head to the beach. Go parasailing or charter fishing or go on a tall ship cruise. If you are hungry, stop for a leisurely meal at the Pier Shops at Caesar.  An upscale shopping spot, the Pier Shops at Caesars is a windowed mall on the pier and a great place to pass the time.

The Steel Pier is almost as old as the boardwalk itself. Built in the 1800’s, it is still waterside adventure, offering classic rides, delicious food, and a whole lot of fun.

The Atlantic City of today is littered with upscale hotels and clubs. Besides playing the slot machines and table games, the casinos can offer spa treatments, performances by famous comedy acts and provide a chance to hang out on the beach while going shopping.
